Although I do duly note that you have stereotyped every concerned citizen who is anti-war into these convenient (for you) categories--wine-sippers, soccer moms, intellectuals, Hollywood, gays, etc.--it makes your post more of a parody of that infamous anti-Howard Dean add than a realistic statement of the way the country is divided.
I see it more this way:
It would be the military, ex-military, NRA members, law enforcement, hunters, etc. (your list) VERSUS decent people from all walks of life who abhor needless violence, believe in war only when it is absolutely necessary, including humanitarians, Buddhists, Christians who are practicing as Jesus actually preached, and loving, tolerant, nonjudgmental human beings who do not believe in world dominance by the United States and do not support brutality on its behalf, and do not believe American lives are more valuable than the lives of people everywhere else. |
