Thanks for the insight.

Your perception and knowledge of the Far East is - by default -
much better than mine.

I made a conjecture that Bayer was in a dilemma as to whether or
not to ante up now, or wait, because AHP will launch soon.

Based on your information, this is *NOT* the boat Bayer is in
and they can afford to wait. Or never act upon it.

This changes my perception of the *REAL* situation.
