Maybe I am just lucky, but I've never actually met any Christians who are actually "offended" by commercialization of Christmas. I think some of them feel superior, if not snooty, as if THEIR beliefs are morally superior and others are crass.

It's sort of like opera fans looking down on Nascar fans, or people who dye their hair the "right" color looking down on people who dye their hair the "wrong" color (purple or black or blonde, depending on your sensibilities as to what constitutes "wrongness" in hair color).
