I bought the DVD of "The Passion of the Christ" well after it completed its theatre run. For personal reasons that have nothing to do with the film, I avoided seeing it in the theatres.

After waiting for a time when I could watch it alone, I finally saw the entire film.

It is a great film which took a lot of courage for Mel Gibson to make. I hope he is well-rewarded for it.

I was not as moved as I expected to be. Perhaps this is because I already knew the story so well; perhaps it is because I know how they make movies. Perhaps it is only because of my state of mind at the time I watched it.

I am now awaiting my execution on the ban list.
