Martin, long term investing is the key. When there are articles that even so much as hint at "competition", it gives brokers a good stock for the day to SELL. You must always look at the Sales side. Brokers likely called their clients and said "I read that Compaq is going to be going up against Sun....just to be on the safe side we should sell now...(=commission). Sorry brokers. But we know this is how you make your car payments! I follow the market all day. It becomes obvious when there is a churning opportunity. There will always be competition in the marketplace. SUNW is my LARGEST (HUGE) position. Have been accumulating, even in the 60's. Not concerned Long Term. This stock is VOLATILE. Amazing for a low P/E stock. I'd say good luck, but this is not the case...So, happy investing!!! Linda
