I was on vacation last week, and just caught up with the goings on of this thread. I'm surprised that no one brought up the ouster of Y2Kster from SI. He posted some pretty funny bearish things about Y2K stocks on the Y2K thread, and got ousted. This may have been because some of them were of questionable taste, but it seems like the Y2K bulls were the most offended by y2kster's posts. In any case, y2kster's posts were no worse than the rantings of Mad Monk, who is very bullish on Y2K. And I think that some SI participants thought that references to crystal balls were obscene, instead of being a reference to forcasting abilities. In any case, here's a post talking about Y2Kster's banishment: techstocks.com

If anyone is interested, they can do a text search for y2kster to find more relevant posts about this subject.
