What strikes me is the ridiculous sensitivity of so many on the left to be offended by any references to christianity in American culture. Hello, the nation was founded on Christian-Judeo values, while respecting the rights of all.
We should celebrated our culture, and not turn away from it or be embarrassed by displays of our heritage.
The "nuts" are the ones who are offended at everything which doesn't meet their world view.
We don't have a right to not be offended. If the waako sensitive crowd has their way, we'll be saying goodbye to Christmas carolling, Holloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas plays at school, Columbus day celebrations, and so much more. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised to see a school district ban the reading of the Declaration of Independence.
Oh, I forgot, didn't that just happen last week.
