Grace, doesn't this story just make you sick? The state threatened to take a newborn away from his loving Mom & Dad, and place their newborn baby only days old into the revolving door of foster care, simply because the couple is blind and the State is clueless as to how effective blind people are taking care of their children. Wouldn't it be cheaper for the state to have someone check in on the loving parents for the first few months, rather than pay $1,500 per month to some stranger in the foster care system?
