The of moral values was not addressed in those links. Promiscuity for example might be seen as a negative value, but we don't know why the rate of preganancy is up for red vs blue. Promiscuity might not be the issue. It could be the likelyhood of choosing to abort is greater in one community than the other. Being pregnant is not value + or - as far as I know.
