The north island is not like that any more, you likely realise .... lot of the camps are gone, guys live in McNeill or Hardy or wherever now, if you can call that living -g- ... the flavour is gone, it's all serious business ... there is the odd corner you can wander into, you think hey it's still 1972 here, and it is, only that stupid kid you knew has grandchildren now ... i haven't been past Hardy for many a year, got to do that soon
