I hear incredible BS about America being the premier terrorist state and wonder why is it that anyone who honestly thinks such a thing live here?
Well the thing is that America exports the stuff, it doesn't conduct mass killings on its own shores, it does it on someone else's turf. So moving to the US is one of the safer things someone could do, whether they agree with the policies or not. Capital has moved to the US as the ever expanding economy, fueled by profligate use of energy, and a consumer primed to spend, has made it a worth while destination. That might be changing though.
As for the rest of your ever expanding rant, you are taking what I said both out of context and are also turning it into things I have not said.
So to put what I said simply, again, I *do* have an issue with US foreign policy that has, for a very long time - well beyond the modern age of the country - used military action inappropriately to achieve its objectives. Its an undeniable fact that in the process the US has killed more than a million civilians, most of them directly, the rest through our foreign friends in pursuit of high fallutin' foreign policy objectives.
If you are proud of that, and see no problems whatsoever with how US domestic and foreign policy impact (both the good and the bad) people on far off shores, then keep beating your chest.
Or join the military, beat your chest *and* learn the chants:
What is the Purpose of the Bayonet? - "To KILL KILL KILL with the Cold Blue Steel!"
What makes the Green Grass Grow? - "Blood, Blood, Bright Red Blood!"
Any reasonable person, any reasonable patriot, ought to be able to find flaws in how foreign policy is conducted both in the past and now. |
