Because you claim that the U.S. is the biggest threat to Iraqi peace, when in fact the insurgents are the biggest threat.

I have never said that................Iraq has been a mess since at least the early part of the 20th century. What the US did was open up a pandora's box; not unlike a kid whacking a beehive with a big stick. Nothing would have happened if the hive was empty or ants instead of bees occupied the hive. Unfortunately, Iraq was an explosion waiting to happen. And now, by stirring up the pot in Iraq, we have become one of the biggest threats to ME, and not just Iraqi, peace.

Muslims have always been their own worst enemy. That is why I believe that we are witnessing the implosion (a very loud and destructive one at that) of the fascist Islamic religion.

Humans are their own worst enemies..........Muslims do not have a corner on that trait.

I get real tired of how you discount all the turmoil the West has encountered and promoted thru the millennia, culminating in the genocide of 6 million Jews and a Cold War between two superpowers that lasted for 45 years, and resulted in all kinds of entanglements, minor wars and BS.

During the last 100 years, the West has screwed and screwed with the ME mostly for one reason and one reason only.........OIL. If it was not for oil, the ME would have been ignored much like the West mostly ignores Africa. So to claim violence and upheaval is a Muslim invention is a blatant and unfair fabrication. Nothing in Islam can match what the West has down over the past 1000 years throughout the world.

BTW there are Muslims who post and/or read this thread. They are intelligent, well mannered, informed people. I would suggest you chill with the blanket criticisms of Muslims. They are unfair and probably hurtful.
