These all look like nice triangle consolidations until they prove otherwise. Low volume is bullish and one would lean and hope for a break higher. Relative volume on NEM was very low today compared to what it did on the way up which I view as very bullish especially considering the very high downside volume in the general market today.
One of the reasons that golds have done relatively poorly vs the POG in the past couple of months is that other sectors were doing quite well. Unlike 2001-02 when golds were inverse to the market why would an investor buy a gold if he could buy a bank or a tech stock over the a last few months ? This may be about to change. The dream for a gold bull is for it to be the only game in town and for capital to rush in. Not many stocks to choose from,
