Bush is saving a nation from demi-gods that mutilated Iraq for last five decades, the evil was Baathists and Saddam along with the cronies you care about so much. This is a very old ploy of liberals to join the evil and good together like your suggestion to place OBL alongside Bush, in a way, that is curve ball by conceding OBL as an evil you accept others to concede their belief in good, the problem is that we see this ploy far too often.

The selectivity of 'evil' is mind boggling by so called intellectuals, why it so, that so many intellectuals made such a wrong call on what the majority wanted in America, the reason is that intellectuals are too tied with 'walk in sky' kind of thinking. Surfing with wishes and drawing moral equivalence is pet habit, I want to ask you straight if elections and democracy is so good where Kerry with a loss of 3.5 million popular votes is still a choice of 57 m intellectuals, why it is bad for Iraq and Afghanistan! Please note that freedom is breaking out in a country that had no tradition of freedom, some valuable lives most probably some of them very wrongly has been lost but has humanity not paid a price all the time for tree of freedom to nurture?

Once elections are held and free Iraqis like free Afghanis celebrate inauguration of their new elected leaders you instead of celebrating will still be intellectualizing.
