It's interesting to note the changes in SI in the years since the political and social threads have gained such prominence. Suddenly, whereas it used to be a wonderful thing that people of diverse backgrounds could pool their knowledge to identify good investments or ridiculous scams, those same differences are now proving to be divisive in other contexts. C'est la vie de cyber.
