Anybody - Question about Dow Jones I hope someone can answer this dumb question or direct me to a link to explain how the Dow Jones Industrial Average is figured. If you follow the link below for the market close today (Aug 29) you will see that of the stocks that make up the DJ, 5 were up slightly, 24 were down (some over a point) and 1 was unchanged. dbc.com How did the DJIA end the day UP over 193 points? Thanks for any help John
