Chip, We don't have the brain wasting disease in our herd like out west. Out west the deer population is very large so the spread is easier out there. I was in NW Minn and they can take up to 7 deer during their season. In fact I think they MUST shoot a doe before a buck as they are trying to thin the herd. In NH most of the state is buck only after the first week.
