So sure, from your perspective you thought it was hard because you didn't dump your issues onto the next generation (since you lived Carter's years). From my perspective, I don't carry the debt of the people that lived Carter's years because they were a heck of a lot less selfish than today's debt ridden congressional leaders.

Do you remember bush's answer to woodward's question, regarding how future generations will judge his actions in iraq? He said, "we won't know, we'll all be dead"...in the idiocy of his answer lies a broad message..."who cares". The president and his followers don't give a darn about the future needs of your generation anymore than they do about the under priviledged from this one.
