Summary of Annual Meeting Where do I start. #'s for the first Six Months ending June 1997 Revenues 6,556 Gross Profit 1,797 Net Income 524 Earnings/share .06 Shares outstanding 8.2 million Market Makers 14 Institutional 3 Backlog 2,100 units. 8 million in the bank R&D spending in the next six months will increase due to new products being developed. Marketing Spending will also increase Expanding Internationally Domestic Market has been Stabilized The service business has been made profitable * Overall Mr. Sandvick is thrilled that 1996 was a success and the Co. is now able to focus. Domestic Lottery: Of the 38 states with lotteries 29 have machines. Of those most of the market is held by the competition. Mr. Sandvick said that On-Point is now in the position to take some back. He also noted that only 15-20% of the retailers had a ITVM machine. International: towards the end of the presentation a list of countries was listed about 10-15 as I remember. On-point is aggressively trying to secure some these new markets. He did not go into fine detail but some of these countries have test machines. Pull Tab Market is new and is being considered Prepaid Phone Card: Domestic Growth 1.2 billion (96) vs. 2.1 Billion in (97) Big Market. He mentioned an alliance with a phone card Co. in a profit share role. * Mr Sandvick Touted an enhanced product line coming in 1998 Question session: Mr. Sandvick responded to a question asking about market-makers. He said On-point made a private offering to increase exposure to the market. * He also mentioned that Roadshows will take place in the follwing months. On the Side: In the colorful handout given to everyone is pictured the "The Billpayer" This machine was announced as a possible market during last years shareholder meeting. I spoke to John Olbrich after the meeting and from what I can gather, this puppy is headed for thrid world countries and cash dependent countries -> Meaning BIG Market. I like this one personaly. On the speculative Side: We know that Sandvick has ties to gaming. But know we have President Wright who has direct links to Bally and Double Eagle. A wise shareholder posed the question if On-Point is looking into gaming. No clear answer was given. Maybe a gaming connection -> Big Money and Market Now Just Speculation!!! Probably Not though I know this post is not perfect but I hope it helps On-Point - On UP =)
