Gary,
I don't know that much about ABTX. I'm just looking at it because
my broker's pretty hot on them (which I thought was neat cause ARCH is into them bigtime). I don't think you can really judge them by earnings and debt since they are classified as a growth stock (meaning IMO that they are in period of rapid expansion). UMSI is also in this phase. However if it were not for acqusitions both would likely be profitable but "going no where". Also from what I can gather (and that is not much) both are likely to turn in their first profitable quarters in the next six months. The thing that makes ABTX attractive to me as a "growth stock" more so than UMSI is that they are already
listed and from what I understand that is one tough uphill battle.
UMSI is the first BB stock that I have ever bought and from what I've seen with the volatile fluctuations in UMSI and other BB stocks that I've looked at here on SI it takes a brave soul with MUCH patience
to live in the BB wilderness. (gosh that sentence sucked!!) I am not that experienced with financial DD and rely heavily on the opinions of my brokers on long term plays. ARCHIE however knows quite a bit about ABTX and has been with them for a while - hell! he's practically their
SI flagship. Sorry I'm not much help, but my broker thinks that ABTX wil dominate its field for many years to come. AND he also said that the next couple of months will be the last chance to get in at single digits.

Ps.- UMSI probably will go lower as I can see no pattern to this madness and the company does not have a history of releasing meaningless news articles to keep trading stirred up (I like this fact
but every now and then it sucks). But I think you need to make a decision before December as I beieve that will be the end to the sub
$1 days.
