I ebayed today, so you crossed my mind. :) It's only my second time there, but after trolling the net for hours looking for a wood sculpture of Garuda, I finally went there, and there it was! I had found a very nice one... for $925. This one looks quite lovely for $45. It's from a company, though, that is connected with National Geographic and their artists are from all countrys, and they have a pic of the artist and a personal history written by the artist. So I've printed that out to send along with the carving. Unfortunately... or fortunately... I found myself in the earring section and now have several bids out there. But it has been great fun looking through them and matching styles/metal/stones/color to each recipient. Amusing how fun it can be to find something for others that I would never wear myself.
