You always make sense to me. And I won't speculate on what that says about me. :)

I don't know, Sioux. It does come down to people in the streets, and that takes energy, not money, though it helps. Heck, if I had gas money to DC and bucks to cover a couple of bills, I'd be tossing it around at the "inagural" thingie. But so be it.

But will these big money Dems show up? They backed Iraq and still stand by it. Some seem to love it. Will they roll over on Iran or listen to the people of their party? They are seeming more and more to be more of the same rather than the party I thought they were. I have always been an Independent but put my energy to the Dems for many reasons, but wanted them to be more fiscally responsible. But now that the Reps have been hijacked, it too often feels like the Dems are falling right in with them. Following the money and lining their own accounts.

And that is my cynical thought for the night. :)
