I would rather have had Dean as the candidate ... at least Dean calls it the way he sees it. in canada we're guilty of the same thing. we vote for the guy who we THINK can win it for us rather than for the guy we really want. but, if everybody voted with their HEARTS and voted for the person they really want, or the party they really want (as is the case in canada) the results i think would be surprising. the right person would actually be elected. we've a lot to learn as an electorate. we have to learn to trust our instincts and not be taken in by fear mongering. that was a good speech. i wish i'd been able to hear to it. -rose
