Um, would you care to supply some, er, evidence of that bald assertion? Because the first thing that turned up when I did a search was this somewhat contrary categorical denial.

Clarke went on to add, "There's absolutely no evidence that Iraq was supporting al Qaeda, ever."

When Stahl pointed out that some administration officials say it's still an open issue, Clarke responded, "Well, they'll say that until hell freezes over.
