As I've explained before here, that comment reflected my religious belief in karma and my relief that no more deer would die. I have tremendous respect for all kinds of life. There is nothing that I said that reflects callous disregard for human life at all. I wrote a longer post expressing what I was thinking, and it is there to read if someone wants to find it. I'm not going to dwell on this.

I think it is very easy to polarize posts, and to misunderstand them. People who think less of me are entitled to their opinions, but anyone who knows me would tell you that I have enormous regard for humans as well as animals, and I hope would judge me by everything I have written, not one post.
