What's particularly galling about Fox is its tabloidy formula. If I were on the right, I would be embarrassed that the number one media respresentative for my political persuasion is so unprofessional.
If Fox represented my persuasion, I might consider it, but since Fox is the only fair and balanced network, and they represent the middle, I don't have to claim them as my own. For some reason you like to beleive that Fox is far right, when this is irreconcilable with the facts.
This is too funny. I will not argue with you on this subject any more. We must agree to disagree.
There is nothing desperate about my beliefs. I am very comfortable with my position. History has taught us that the red voters do not lead well and are slow to advance....slavery, segregation, anti abortion etc. are all cut from a very old cloth that does not weather well over time.
There is the desperation. The "other side" must be stupid.
Its not that they "must be" stupid.......they are stupid. Stupid not as a measure of intelligence but in the conclusions they reach from the facts they are presented. There is no question on this issue. The right as it exists today marches to a beat that is both reactionary and out of date. Believe what you want to believe....after all, its still a free country......but I have no intention of endorsing or supporting the right's positions. They make no sense.....Iraq examplifies the bad, bad thinking of the right. Listening today to ole Rummie BS with the troops is one more example. Re enlistments will go down another 10% thanks to his comments.
Get over it. Conservatives are not brain dead demented inbred hicks. The fact that you prefer to insult rather than engage demonstrates your disassociation from reality.
Not brain dead.......just stupid, lazy thinkers. What worked ten, twenty, hundred years ago still works for them today. Inflexible, stubborn, non creative, xenophobic, mean spirited, abrasive, non diplomatic are just some of the adjectives that further describe the elitists of the right. From religion to politics, the right is made up of fundamentalists and evangelicals who believe they are superior.
I used to respect the conservatism of T. Roosevelt......the pragmatism and fiscal responsibility of the right. No longer! After the past 4 years, I don't think I will ever vote for another GOPer as long as I live. And frankly, I don't care if I am the last American to think that way. If this country is to go the way of the NASCAR, so be it but it will be without my endorsement or support. |
