1021 GMT [Dow Jones] UK shop prices fell by 0.94% in the 12 months to Nov, a lower rate of deflation than the 1.37% fall recorded in the 12 months to Oct, according to the British Retail Consortium. Even with high oil prices, BRC said retail inflation isn't a problem for the economy, and added there is "no justification" for a rise in interest rates. (PJH)
