You're never going to see a float full of nuns. Not real nuns. They don't go in for that type of behavior. Nor do priests.

Parades are for egotists and extraverts. And floats cost a lot of money. People I know in New Orleans that parade in amateur parades every year spend several thousand dollars every year per person, for the float, decorations, costumes, throws, driver, gas, storage. It takes many hours per person to make a new float every year.

Priests and nuns don't have that kind of money or time, and if they did, they'd use it for something more worthwhile.
