I saw Mayer on this PBS show pbs.org I was a little surprised to find it was the same guy. My wife thought he "looked" strange on stage (lots of weird facial expressions) but thought he was unusual. I thought he was sort of incoherent as a guitarist (which was what the show was about). Maybe down the road I might change my mind. I thought Vince Gill's effort was about the best in the show... wonderland is truly awful but the teenage girls are lappin it up....can't fight that power...
