His number two accomplishment being what? Well, let's see... Almost 6 million new jobs were created in the first two years of his Administration alone, almost 8M by the 3 year mark. Unemployment was at 7% when he took office....incompetent president. (I picked the first 3 years because a joker or two here will say that it was a GOP congress that did all these things). He cut taxes on 15 million low-income families and raised it on 1.2 percent of the wealthiest taxpayers. Signed into law the largest deficit reduction act, for which not a single GOPer voted (not a one). Phil Gramm said at the time that it would rain ruin on the economy. The rest is hystory of course. When Clinton took office the budget defict was $290B. When he left office, the surplus for 2000 was $230B....what a bastard. Presided over 8 years of the strongest economic expansion in the century...what a loser. Led Nato into a successful mission that ended the Balkan conflict without the loss of a single American in combat. America was well respected abroad...suck up of man. He put 100,000 cops on the street. He passed a tough crime bill, an assault gun ban (the one bush let expire just recently). His years saw drastic reductions in crime rates...a danger to society. All of this and more, with sound environmental policy...what a dirty creep. I can go on. Do the same with Bush's first four stellar years for us. Oh, don't forget, Clinton did these things with 6 years of hostile congress with a GOP majority. Al
