DAC(TM):GRF is a chemically modified form of GRF that, followingsubcutaneous injection, covalently and permanently bonds to albumin, thedominant protein in blood, thus dramatically prolonging the half-life of GRFfrom minutes to days (more than 10 days in humans). More importantly, DAC cannot be detected in sprinters or baseball players after albumin binding occurs.
