Hi Jay, I'm on a visit to the Southwest and yesterday I did a little poking around in the desert hills north of town. Pulled into a swank housing development with a sign out front: "Pulte Homes - Models Open". Drove up to a cul-de-sac on a rise where I could gaze over the valley before me, and was utterly dumbstruck by the vast panorama of brand new homes spreading out into the distance. Now I know how the German troops felt when the D-Day armada appeared off the coast of Normandy. Today Toll Brothers (TOL) gapped away on a 93-percent profit surge, and led the DJUSHB home builder index to a new high. Not sure if you're still shorting these beasts, but if it was me I guess I'd be throwing in the towel around now. -Snow
