Breathes there a soul on earth who doesn't know that Giuliani went through a messy divorce? When they learn that his first wife starred in "The Vaginia Monologues" don't they feel a mite sorry for him?

And pretty much everybody who cares about politics knows that Giuliani is pro-abortion. The vast majority of Americans are pro-abortion. Not necessarily in favor of partial birth abortion, although I suspect that most would favor partial birth abortion to save the life or health of the mother. Most people who are opposed to partial birth abortion argue that it is NEVER used to save the life or health of the mother, so they side-step that question.

Granted, Giuliani probably isn't going to have the support of some in the Religious Right, but that's a fractious coalition that threatens to splinter off if you look at them cross-eyed. To me, they're the real RINOs. They only care about social issues like abortion and gay marriage, don't care a whit about limiting government. Depending on how many justices Dubya puts on the SCOTUS bench in the next four years, abortion may not be a federal issue in 2008.
