Come on. Mr. C! We were discussing Godel on this thread when you were still using a gold pan! The fact is that provability and truth are only related by presumption. We use logical premises such as identity and contradiction because that is the way our senses and our minds are constructed to apprehend and conceive. There is no way for us to KNOW that Truth is fundamentally attached to provability. As to a "God"...we could as easily be referring to infinite nothingness. If you place Godel's "proof" on a pedestal you are attempting to take logic to completeness--which is precisely what Godel said could not be done within a finite paradigm. So you cannot assign TRUTH to Godel unless you are beyond his logic. And then where would you be? Panning for invisible gold like some preacher pointing at invisible angels. Got another pan!?
