Pardon me if I can't get excited. With that last PR, a company announces they have nothing, they haven't a clue when they'll have something, they're not too sure what it might be used for if they ever get it, but they portray it as a major milestone achieved.

If I were more cynical, I'd suspect that getting grant money is a function of number of PRs issued and papers published.
