About 6 years ago, I got a VIP tour of one of the boomers at the Bangor sub base. The MICHIGAN, I believe.

I was amazed at some of the low level technology on that boat.

I was chatting with one of the guys in the computer room, where it appeared they were running old 386 boxes. He told me that he'd been trying for over a year to get a new plotter to replace the one that had broken.

Pretty interesting experience.
