... and, wasn't it technically the Federation of NR and Nyasaland, for some time before 'independence'? ... though each wouldn't lose sense of identity under such a federation, i suppose ... in the latest issue of Canadian Geographic there is quite a piece on canadians mining in Africa, mostly about Congo, three companies mentioned, Adastra, Tenke, and First Quantum
