The curious thing is that most of the foods that help to contribute to the obesity pandemic haven't gone up that much at all.

If a food's calories are predominantly from corn syrup, trans-fats or other "empty calories", they are more likely to appear affordable as nutritious foods keep becoming more and more costly.
