Ted, When they founded America, they also stipulated the separation of church and state so that the state/our workplaces would be free of religion.

Nice twist on words, Ted. From "freedom of religion" to "free of religion."

Its not a "twist on words". Its the reality if you understand what freedom of religion means. To successfully have freedom of religion, people must be free to practice whichever religion they prefer. And to go unmolested if their religion is different from someone else's or if they choose not to practice a religion at all. Unmolested means that one group's religious values can not be imposed on another group. However, Christians believe that because they are the majority in this country their religion should be intertwined with the daily life of most Americans.

Its a direct violation of the FF's intent. But Christians in their self importance don't want to hear it. They want a cross in every pot and a ten commandments on every building.

So yes, freedom of religion means freedom from religion if a person so chooses. Apparently, that's become unacceptable to the religious right.
