We had record rainfall, and all of our major rivers flooded overnight.


I will never forget landing at SEATAC in Dec of '96. We waited on the tarmac for 30 minutes to get a gate, and the main downstairs concourse baggage area looked like "the last plane out of Peking." Baggage stacked everywhere.

I drove a rental to Ft Worden for a weeklong dance camp though the snow. Skidded my way to the Ferry from the airport. Snow over the top of the car during my stay.

You guys get a lot of rain, but very seldom a winter like that one!
