Are you aware of some communication that I'm not aware of? He asked that an alternative moderator be assigned. He didn't ask that anyone be banned.

I haven't located the TOU provisions that says someone incarcerated pending trial and verdict is in violation of the TOU. Perhaps you could cite the relevant section?

Not a violation either, except to the extent that we find an account being used by someone other than the account holder. We did, and disabled access to prevent further misuse. What he carries in his wallet is supposed to factor in here because....?

We don't run background checks on users. I'm not aware of any convictions that are related to his activities on SI. If there were, they no doubt would have been previously brought to the attention of site officials and would have been dealt accordingly at that time.

They being SI? Get real. Look at the times of my posts, and Bob's, and Matt's on iHub. These sites are like casinos - they never close. We spend a lot of hours at all times of day a night dealing with all types of issues, and inference that there is something sinister about the time an event occurred is at best uninformed and at worst moronic.
