A recent survey conducted by Sears reported shopping habits of men. An interesting trend
was found between male sports fans and their shopping habits.
 89% of men would rather watch their favorite sports team LOSE to their biggest
rival than tackle holiday gift shopping.
 71% of men indicate that the success of their favorite football team impacts the
amount of time they spend on holiday shopping.
 78% of men look forward to watching football during the holidays, while 70% of
men look forward to indulging in all of the seasonal goodies.
 49% of men do not plan to spend more money on holiday gifts this year versus last
year.
 45% of men in the South are planning to spend less than $100 dollars on their
significant other’s gift. 41% percent of men in the Northeast estimate to spend
between $300 and $500 on their significant other’s gift.
