And therein lies the great weakness of the net. Unlike a phone number ("disconnected") or a street address ("moved"), we're met with complete silence when a really independent somebody like Liz stops posting. She often mentioned her girlfriends -- but do any of them monitor or even know about SI? Maybe each of us should designate a couple of people to let others know what's happening if we're unable to or unwilling to post for some reason?
