So if the hedgies are going to play gold at some point, and if Frank is right they won't play the juniors, then do we assume the hot money goes into Major/Mid-tier plays or GLD? Or, do they just play the futures.

This year, in oil at least, the commercials stirred up the futures which drove the stocks and the hedgies went for the liquid stocks, AFAIKT.

I think people worry there is a good chance gold drops below $400 and I that continues to hurt us.
