cirrus....Where do you find this stuff?".....

Not sure if you mean this in a bad sense or good. :-)

You said...."I could go on and on, but you see the point. We need more common sense and less paranoia.

Security is not rocket science. It's common sense, and as Bush might say, its "hard work". We need focus on the simple basics every day, day in and day out, and stop worrying about Armageddon.
"......

While I agree with most of what you say I think all of us must remember that it took a 9/11 as a wake up call to get us all to start paying attention to security and the common sense things. I admit I don't understand how long it takes or what kind of opposition to common sense change exists but I sort of think it's like turning an Ocean liner on a dime.

Armageddon may be a bit of a strong word but let me ask you something... Do you think that islam radicals could possibly get hold of a nuclear bomb? and do you think they would use it? or any other WMD for that matter.

So I disagree with you that we should stop worrying about " armageddon " IMO that is exactly the mind set we need at this time to be able to put in place the common sense things or laws that you refer too to make the USA more secure. It was not paying attention ...as you suggested.... that allowed islam terrorists to commit the atrocities of 9/11 and other murders.
