business week (today's edition) had a short article on brazil; reinforeced my fears. as i said on this thread many times--the world is worried about brazil's possible devaluation (read mexico 1994,thailand, malaysia, indonesia 1997 etc. revisited). thus, the financial community is fearful. is there blood in the street? maybe not--but there is surely some scraped flesh. however, the article ended with a generally upbeat tone saying that deregulation and lowering inflation will pull them out of it. i am hopeful, but realize that tbr could drop more on these fears. i think we should let this baby fall a bit more and average down. fear provides opportunity--if you are careful--good luck!
