Once again, I think the US military gets it right. Free Republic is set up differently than SI, it doesn't have permanent threads like PFP, it has ping lists for threads that last a day or two. I am on a ping list for a daily thread for the military, called "The Canteen." Today's Canteen has a guest military chaplain. Scroll down to the request for prayers for all denominations. freerepublic.com For the life of me, I can't see why "Season's Greetings" is so offensive. I do get a kick out of saying "Merry Christmas" to people I think are Christians - and guessing right, so I get a delighted "Merry Christmas" back.
