Sorry that I meant subjectid, not treadid. Anyway, I have a question for you - can a catelog be built with 2 fields, instead of one? In other words, can you build an index(or catelog, for that matter) that has two fields, first one is the subjectid and the second one is the CLOB field? If not, then I would hope it will become available for the future versions; otherwise, it will be a handicap trying to narrow down your search subset to a given subjectid first, then search the full-text message within the subset derived from a given subjectid. I really don't understand why the catelog can only be build on a single CLOB column?

Yes and no. Only text fields can be included in catalogs. I'm going to make a copy of one of the search tables sometime, convert the relevant id fields to text, build a catalog for the new table that includes those fields, and see what happens. I have no idea what'll happen. It'll be a stab in the dark.
