I don't mind doing things the hard way. It's kind of a philosophical thing. I don't like adding levels of complexity to things if I can avoid it.

I rarely remember the exact name of the SP I'm looking for, so need to scroll through them. I usually just remember that they start with things like "update" and "ins".

And writing a routine to load an SP into a text editor then save it back out is just another level of complexity. Not huge, granted. But really doesn't accomplish anything that editing the T-SQL in the aspx doesn't already accomplish.

Although Dave's got something going that's pretty close to that and with a little revision....
