Some of the difference in vigour can be laid to climate, maybe .... call it lethargy of lower latitude, i know i do a lot less in a day at seventeen degrees of latitude than i do at forty-nine and a half ... don't feel the need to do any more there either, life is simpler, easier, warmer, more social, less 'productive' in material goods, but so what <shrug> Also, the indians have a democracy, and have passed laws against being shackled to their place in the factory, or taken out and shot .... you could call them the Canada of Asia, maybe ... definitely i would rather be an indian than a chinaman
